Signet Ring New Shank

New shank on a family signet ring.

This 9ct signet ring had crown very thin and the shank was broken. I was given a selection of old gold to have refined into a section to replace the shank of the signet ring.

Product Description

New shank on a family signet ring

With wear rings often become thin in the shank. In most cases a new shank can be added to extend the life of the much loved jewellery.

Old gold was used to produce a section to form the new shank. This is a great way to use other unworn jewellery.

The original ring had no engraving but we added the customers family crest taken from existing buttons. We use an excellent engraver proficient in both Intaglio and surface engraving.
